Elena is a classically trained food and beverage operations expert with over 15 years of international experience.
Starting her career in the centre of Moscow in the late 90s, Elena has proceeded to obtain the best hospitality education from world-renowned Les Roches School of Hospitality Management in Switzerland. Since then she has managed various fine dining and upscale casual restaurants and worked on such iconic brands as Trump Hotel in Miami, Florida and the late 3 star Michelin Chef Santi Santamaria. Her latest work after founding Caterer’s Lab can be witnessed in Dubai at Atlantis the Palm Hotel and Resort and Fairmont Resort Ajman in a number of fine dining outlets, and at the Dubai Mall’s first home grown contemporary restaurant Pi Dubai.
Her experience in planning and early stage restaurant setup, such as feasibility studies, SWOT and GAP analyses has made her a go-to consultant for F&B tech start-ups and ecommerce platforms in the Middle Eastern region such as LivingSocial, Lunch :ON, Localyser, MarkaVIP, SHJ SEEN and a number of social media project activations.
Elena’s experience also transcends into her passion for speciality food and beverage such as single origin coffees and chocolates, fine teas with a tea master certification, and hybrid rare chillies.
