Achim Lenders is Vice President of Global Food and Beverage at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., one of the leading hotel and leisure companies in the world. Lenders joined Starwood in 2014, bringing more than 30 years of food and beverage experience spanning international positions both in and out of the kitchen. Lenders oversees the alignment and development of Starwood’s multi-billion dollar global food and beverage strategy, including the creation and execution of strategies to enhance Starwood’s critically acclaimed restaurant, bar and banquet operations across nearly 1,300 restaurants and 930 bars in 100 countries. Lenders also leads Starwood’s Global Food and Beverage Council, driving the implementation of consistent systems and best-in-class practices across all nine Starwood brands.
Prior to joining Starwood, Lenders spent more than 25 years at Hyatt Hotels Corporation where he held various Executive Chef positions around the globe and increasingly senior roles, most recently serving as Corporate Senior Vice President of Food and Beverage for Hyatt.
